October 29th NEWSLETTER
“You’re in good hands with Allstate.” This insurance company jingle assures its customers the best service and fastest car repair when an accident occurs. Everyday Christians can boldly proclaim that we are Someone else’s good hands. God tells us in Isaiah 49:16 that “I have written your name on the palm of My hands.” God protects us from harm and danger. He is always with us and always loves us, as He proved by sending His Son to rescue us from dying forever. God continually has us in His grip. God has promised to keep us safe in the palm of His Hand and lead us step by step until we reach heaven. As a result, we are able to rest securely knowing that no accidents, sicknesses, or challenges in this life will ever be able to separate us from God’s love, grace, and mercy. So whether you find your days filled with mountain top experiences or the most difficult of situations, always remember, “You’re in good hands with Jesus!”
SUCCESSFUL FALL REVUE!
“It’s been a long time since upper grade students put on a show like that,” said one of Mt. Calvary’s long time school supporters. Thanks to all who came to support our upper grade students in last week’s Fall Revue, “A Night on Broadway.” Students performed for a packed gymnasium filled with family, friends, and school staff. Congratulations to students, teachers, and Ms. Miller (music teacher) for all the hard work and many hours of practice to make the show a success. It was an evening to remember!
WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT MT. CALVARY
You and your family are always invited to join us for Sunday morning worship at Mt. Calvary. Worship services are at 9:00am each week followed by Bible study, Sunday School and Youth Group at 10:15am. Please plan to worship with us soon!

SCHEDULING FOR PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
1st Quarter Parent Teacher Conferences (Nov. 12 & 13) are being scheduled TOMORROW. Forms were sent home with last week’s Family Folder and again earlier this week. If you have not returned this form listing your date / time preferences for these conferences, you have one last opportunity to turn it in TOMORROW. Keep in mind that these conferences are required of all parents and provide opportunities for teachers, students, and parents, to recognize successes and identify areas for improvement. You will be notified of your assigned time the week before conferences.
CAMPBELLS & BOXTOPS
Just a reminder that the school collects BoxTops for Education and Campbell’s UPC labels. BoxTops are located on a variety of General Mills products. Simply collect the labels at home and then have your child bring them to the school office. Every label helps! Mt. Calvary receives points for these labels which allow us to receive various educational products to use in classrooms.
