Eight days after that first Easter, doubt was a guest in the room where the disciples had gathered. Most of them had seen the risen Jesus the week before. But Thomas hadn't been there with them when Jesus made that appearance, and he very much doubted the disciples word that Jesus had risen.

Jesus then entered the room where the disciples, including Thomas, were gathered. It was there that doubt met peace. Jesus showed His hands and His side to Thomas, and spoke the words: "Peace be with you." Thomas believed!

Our lives are filled with worry and doubt. That's what sin does to people like you and me. But there is a place where doubt meets peace. It happens every Sunday morning within the walls of Mt. Calvary. Have doubts? Worries? Issues? Problems? Trials? Troubles? Ills? Come to worship and receive the gift of peace. That's what the Word of God delivers!

Pray for Mt. Calvary, that peace would prevail in the lives of all memebers! Bring others to worship at Mt. Calvary, where they will meet the risen Jesus and receive peace! Tell others about a Savior who drives out doubt and forgives all sin!
