Nov. 12 NEWSLETTER
Junk foods, whole grain breads, fruits or vegetables...which would you choose? While we know the importance of eating well balanced meals, sometimes burgers, candy and chips are just so appealing. But, we know that too much junk food makes us sick. Our spiritual lives can also be filled with either junk food or healthy food. Violence, bad language, inappropriate television or music are all examples of "junk food" we allow to enter our minds from time to time. We then become sick with sin and often find ourselves with more negative attitudes, making poor decisions, or emulating what we have just seen or heard. God's word tells us that instead, we should feed on Jesus, who is the Bread of Life. Jesus comes to us at no cost, and says, "Follow Me." Feeding on God's Word is the spiritually healthy food that strengthens our faith and enables us to resist the temptations of the world. What kind of food do you prefer? May it be Jesus, the Bread of Life.
FAMILY THANKSGIVING LUNCH IS COMING

On Tuesday, November 17th at 7pm, Special Agent Steve Kurkowski will present valuable information about the Dangers of the Internet at Milwaukee Lutheran High School. The 90 minute presentation will have information about the latest internet traps and allow parents to ask questions. This is an excellent presentation – all parents and students are invited to attend.
WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT MT. CALVARY
You and your family are always invited to join us for Sunday morning worship at Mt. Calvary. Worship services are at 9:00am each week followed by Bible study, Sunday School and Youth Group at 10:15am. Please plan to worship with us soon!
CAMPBELLS & BOXTOPS
Just a reminder that the school collects BoxTops for Education and Campbell’s UPC labels. BoxTops are located on a variety of General Mills products. Simply collect the labels at home and then have your child bring them to the school office. Every label helps! Mt. Calvary receives points for these labels which allow us to receive various educational products to use in classrooms.
