ABOUT MISS. PAASCH

I'm excited for this school year at Mt. Calvary!  This will be my seventh year teaching but my first year at Mt. Calvary.  For the last six years I taught first grade at Sherman Park where I fell in love with Christian urban education.  Mt. Calvary is a special place and I am so thankful God led me here.

I grew up in Richfield, WI.  I attended the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin where I earned a bachelors degree in education and a special education certification.  I have always had a passion for edcuation and couldn't imagine doing anything else.  All of my students make everyday special and exciting.  I have also been teaching piano privately for the last 15 years.  I have played for some weddings and events but for the most part play for my own enjoyment.  I love watching and playing sports.  I play in a couple softball leagues over summer and travel once a year to play a tournament in Florida.  I am currently in the process of hiking the entire Ice Age trail with a friend.  The Ice Age trail is a 1,200 mile trail that runs throughout Wisconsin.  We are 140 miles in and hope to finish within the next year.
